About the Map
Sunday dinner was where I grew up — learning, laughing, and bonding over giant bowls of pasta. Later, I found that same magic in old-school red sauce joints across America. The loud tables, the big-hearted hospitality, the stories simmering right alongside the sauce. So I started mapping them. The Red Sauce Map is my ongoing love letter to Italian-American food culture — a growing list of pizzerias, Italian delis, and red sauce joints that still serve up that “sit down and stay awhile” spirit. One goal is to tell the stories of Italian-American culture through its food businesses because we have a strong work ethic that blends into our family oriented roots and beliefs. These places preserve more than recipes — they keep Italian-American heritage alive. If this map leads you to a great meal and even better company, then it’s doing it right.
